Possibly the last video for a while, since I'll be traveling — and likely not have a guitar. Butterflies.

Both sorrowful and hopeful — one of my favourite Sunny Day songs.

Love this song. Long and varied, with a fun ending. Such playful and interesting songwriting. One part early in the song totally reminds of "Blackbird" by The Beatles.

A bit vapid, but such a great song.

Lots of mistakes, but I really wanted this medley in a single take. :)
Made a lot of mistakes, but I'm just too damn excited that I pulled this medley off in a single take. Originally I set out to learn a single Beatles song, but I got sucked in and it just sort of grew organically into this thing I never thought I could do: a respectable single person performance of a multipart Weezer song...and then some. :)
Original songs: "Only in Dreams" by Weezer, "Heart and Soul" by Hoagy Carmichael, "Beyond the Sea" by Frank Sinatra, and "I Will" by The Beatles.
There are a lot of times where I'll hear a song — often far outside of the "guy with a guitar" genre — and just know that I have a "way in": that I can do a cover version in "my style" (whatever that is). But even more often, even a fairly straightforward song seems out of reach.

What I've found is that so much is possible if we just forget what is "impossible" and do it.
