Embarrassing Japanese lyrics: ぼくははるかとおくからきた そして、どこでは 分からないけど 僕にはわかる 場所がふさわしいいる with you 僕たちは 会った時 笑顔で笑って With you 毎日あなたとずっと一緒にいたいけど 最初、歌うたい For you その後、歌うたい With you ところで, 僕はあなたに何かを伝えたいと気づいた 本当に、大好き、なるほど、たしかに、 あなたに言いて 愛してる I love you ^_^;
"Reckoner" by Radiohead
Possibly the last video for a while, since I'll be traveling — and likely not have a guitar. Butterflies.
Original song: "Reckoner" by Radiohead
"Don't Let Go" by Weezer
Love this song. Catchy, beautiful melody, and fun to play.

"Edelweiss" by Rodgers and Hammerstein (from The Sound of Music)
Wonderful song, from perhaps the most perfect movie ever made.

"Wishlist" by Pearl Jam
I wish, I wish; I wish, I wish... :)

"God Only Knows" by The Beach Boys
The best song ever written. Period.

"Every Shining Time You Arrive" by Sunny Day Real Estate
Both sorrowful and hopeful — one of my favourite Sunny Day songs.

"Kicked It in the Sun" by Built to Spill
Love this song. Long and varied, with a fun ending. Such playful and interesting songwriting. One part early in the song totally reminds of "Blackbird" by The Beatles.
Original song: "Kicked It in the Sun" by Built to Spill
"The Sign" by Ace of Base
A bit vapid, but such a great song.
Original song: "The Sign" by Ace of Base
"Only in Dreams" by Weezer
Made a lot of mistakes, but I'm just too damn excited that I pulled this medley off in a single take. Originally I set out to learn a single Beatles song, but I got sucked in and it just sort of grew organically into this thing I never thought I could do: a respectable single person performance of a multipart Weezer song...and then some. :)
Original songs: "Only in Dreams" by Weezer, "Heart and Soul" by Hoagy Carmichael, "Beyond the Sea" by Frank Sinatra, and "I Will" by The Beatles.
